When you say you've had the radiator checked, do you mean you've takin it out and had it flow tested by a shop?

Ok so have you ruled out a defective/incorrect reading temp gauge?

Put in a maual guage not long ago and it's not run close to any heat sources.

Do you have axcess to an infared thermometer. Is the coolant bubbling or are the rad hoses hard from pressure?

The return hose is hot. It's churning thefluid with the cap open. I do have a thermometor at work I will bring it home tomorow and shoot it. I cant remember the brand gauge.

the upper hose is hot but the lower is cold? there's your problem. no flow.
