Default Harmonic Damper

This week or weekend I hope on putting a new Harmonic Damper in my 95 gt. I ordered a professional products Powerforce Harmonic Damper and front main seal. I got a Chilton manual and it says to change the front main seal when I change the damper so I go tone. It also says I got to remove my electric fan. I plan on renting a damper puller/installer when I do this. I justed wanted some input fro some people who have done this. Is they anything I should look out for? Will I have to set the timing after I change it? Any comments would be great.

i did mine and needed a puller

i took the fan/shroud and unbolted them and set them on top the car... took an impact gun to the bolt in the center, make sure to remove the washer, use your puller and its out... just put the new one in its place and thats that, no timing work needed or anythng... took me 10-15 min tops

one thing is when i changed mine the shaft that screws into the crankshaft hole it threaded in there and it almost messed up my threads i don't know why it just wouldn't come out and we had it really tight so we just put the bolt back in without the washer and pushed up agianst the bolt and it came right off. and yes i would pull the electric it only takes like maybe 5 min and it gives lots more room.

I ran into a problem. damn it. So i have march performance pulleys on and the bolts that come with that kit can only be tighten using an allen key. the professional prducts damper has a spacer and those bolt barely clear the spacer muchless reach the damper. Do you think they would sell this bolt at my local hardware store. I just need a longer version of the bolt i have. the old bolts are not use able because the pulley is so small a socket wont fit around the bolt. the pulley is that small. [:@]
