Do you have the cotter pin and nut off? That is what the impact is for, so if they are already off and you can't get them to seperate from the spindle then you will need a special wedge shaped, two pronged fork to use with a hammer to pop them off. Sometimes you can get lucky and just striking them with a hammer will pop them off if you don't have a fork.

Im talking about taking them off the actual steering rack thread. Any special technique used to do so?

There is a lock nut on them and two flat spots on the tie rod itself... get two wrenches and loosen the lock nut, then just spin the whole unit off the end of the steering rod. When you get ready to spin them off, count how many turns it takes to get them off and when you put the new one on, put it back on the same number of turns and it will keep the alignment pretty close to how it was before you changed them... but you still have to get it aligned because it won't be perfect. That is just to get you close enough to drive it to the alignment shop.

Well im just turning them out a bit so my sn-95 spindles line up right... I see the flat spot your talking about on the shaft but the lock nut looks like its a part of the actual tie rod shaft it. Ill give it a shot
