Hi All, I just got my car put on the DYNO since it is new for me and never got tuned. The numbers are 198 HP and 270 LBS Torque. The worst part of all this is that the techs said that the car looked liked it got wrecked at one time in the front end. Carfax does not show this of course . The car was a present from my wife and I love it but now I am pissed. Visibly the car looks awesome cept that the left front fender is less than 1/4 inch off most likely from the accident. They also told me that the engine may not be totally straight but they werent positive. I am not really sure what to do at this point. It basically keep it and have a body shop align the fender and hood or sell it. Like I said before I get nothing but complments on the car and its really really clean with only 73k on it.What's everyone's opinion?

I also forgot to say that the car drives great and even the techs that did the dyno said it ran really strong and smooth. They also saw nothing wrong with the engine at all. Plus it has a transgo kit and 4.10's.

Keep the car. You will not find, except on rare occasion, a perfect car. What year is your Stang? If it drives good and looks good, runs well, there is not reason to sell her. Give her some TLC and love your wife for the great present!

sounds like a nice stang dude. mine didn't even work when i first bought it and then when i did get it runnin' i detroyed the tranny. every ones fox has got some problems! is this your first mustang?

It's a 92 Black vert with Saleen Wing and Wheels. Yes, this is my first stang and I bought it to learn about cars/engines.

my brother bought an 03 mach 1.. i think thats what year it is? not really sure?
anyway..the guy he bought it from said its never been wrecked.
he brought it over to my house and was washing it, and i spotted some green painters tape on it.
sure enough it had been wrecked on the side. not bad, but it was bad enough for me too notice up close.
he was pissed off too.
i told him, if you sell this car, and buy another one its going to be wrecked a little too unless you get real lucky. because its hard to find a mustang under 50k that hasnt been smacked around a little. thats what happened too all the boss mustangs, and all the older mustangs.

so, anyways, i wouldnt sell it. unless it had really bad frame damage.

Well if it runs and drives straight and L@@Ks good keep it? If you ever have to sell it than give him the carfax and that's it, just like the person you bought it from..............Enjoy
