Steeda Clutch Adjuster Kit Install (Help!)

RE: Steeda Clutch Adjuster Kit Install (Help!)
My main problem was that I couldn't find a wrench big enough to get the cable loose from the tranny and it was up on a jack (I didn't want to stay under there that long). I think I can do it in about an hour now since I messed with it last night.

Ok , so I got it installed but now I am having another issue. I can shift some of my gears but the others are harder.
1st: damn near impossible to get in
2nd: about as hard
3rd: not to bad
4th: not to bad
5th: haven't gotten that far
Do I need to adjust the cable to be tighter or looser?

yes, adjust it now and everything should be good. the cable should move toward the front of the car when adjusting, the piece at the tranny where the cable goes thru that is.

It was a bitch as first. The cable kept coming off of the quadrant, but then I realized what I was doing.

I could probably do the whole thing in 30 minutes now, but I never want to have to replace it again.

I have this kit....but i have no idea what it does or how to use it. (it was on the car when I bought it). Can anyone explain to me?

It's an adjustable cable kit from steeda with a double hook quadrant. If you used the firewall adjuster you have to use the hook cloests to the firewall, but if you use the bolt adjuster at the fork then you have to put it on the furthest away hoook.
It took soemtime to install, the cable kept coming off of the quadrant, but then I just got unde the car and loosened it some and then checked it, rinse and repeat.
But now it seems that I need to make it tighter so that I can shift all my gears, which I plan to do sometime this week.
