I'm just exploring my options, I'm completely retarded when it comes to custom wiring things. If I don't have detailed instructions and pictures and someone holding my hand I get confused lol. I'm just looking for the easiest route to do this.

Is there a big difference between an electric fan and a mechancial fan, other than the fan not being powered by the crank?

There was a thread a few weeks ago from a guy who had one and it fell apart on him. You should be able to find plenty of info on installing the Mark VIII or a taurus fan to be able to install one.

Some of the fans that I am looking atare pulling about80-130CFM more than the taurus fan, are direct fit and come with adjustable t-stats. The Proform is now out of the question lol.

Money was not a issue when I got mine so I went with a Flex-a-lite X-treme (3300 CFM). It was easy to install and came with a adjustible thermo and all the wires. If money is a issue than you can get the Thermo kit at Summitracing.com for less than $70 and a used Mark VIII fan for about $50 and it would hold up much better than a cheap off brand.

I have one, wish I would have spent more. The tarus fan will work, but it looks bad IMO...I am going to get the flex-a-light black magic.
