Hey. I'm trying to put my new deck in my 1990 5.0 Lx Mustang but I seem to be running into problems with blowing a fuse or two, even after I replace many of the TD Blue 15 amp fuses. The battury is disconnected when I switch the fuses so that is not the problem. Any suggestions on what I may be able to do to get my CD player working? I have been told that the interior Dome light and the Map lite run off the same fuse that the Deck does and both of those lights are not working. If someone could help me out that would be awsome. Thanks.

the wiring behind the radio controls everything you just spoke of. something is broken and shorting out in the wiring harness behind the radio.
