96 is the best year if you dont want to get special headers, otherwise anything up to like, 2000 i think

I do not think you can get a whole lot of power out of the gt40 heads. Thats what I have been told anyway. They are more for a budget build. I am not sure what the difference is between the gt40s and gt40P's. I would like to know as well. I am looking into starting a budget build soon.

changing out to the gt40 explorer parts will bring you about 50hp to the wheels.
do some good shopping, you can get the heads and intake for less than $300

i want to say that the gt-40ps are better because of the air flow. im not sure though.
if anyone happens to find out, please let me know. being that they are budget parts....is so up my alley!
cant afford brand new aluminum heads, it would be nice though.

they dont flow any different.

the difference between the regular heads and the P heads are the spark plug angle. the P heads angle the plug more towards the center of the combustion chamber. this is why you need special headers.
