basically get a computer friendly cam so it will be easier to tune.

my cam on the other hand was nowhere close to being computer frienly

560/576 300/310 110

the car was very moody and because of the computer tended to idle surge and then would just die sometime. at the time i had to deal with it cause i didn't have the money to get a tune

Just make sure you save up a little for a tune/tuner ofter words, it gets the most out of your setup anyways so you might as well

If you're looking for a great camshaft for a 1994 or 1995 GT and if you don't want to spend a ton of money trying to find the right tune then look into the Steeda #19 camshaft. It's perfect for these cars and needs very little tweaking (if any at all.)

Thanks, for all the info. Speaking of camshafts... Is it worth it< and about how many horses could one expect from one?

on a stock motor... dont expect the cam to do much except sound cool. You should pair it up with a nice set of heads and a matching intake. To get the best results out of it you should also get a 65-70mm TB and if you decide to get a larger MAF (our cars have a 70mm stock) you should look into a ford 80mm. toss on a nice exhaust and youll have a pretty bad *** machine

Yeah, the cam alone won't do much of anything. The only reasin I still have it in there is because I didn't see the point in taking it back out after I swapped my heads and intake back to stock. I probably could have used it in the other engine I'm building but I can always pay $200 and get a decent cam anytime.

your car, however, is an exception... you have a s/c.. so you WILL see gains from that cam
