okay i'll try that but i check the positive cable and it looked okay...didn't know it could break internally though...
Make sure all those connections are tight and clean check the positive cable to the starter where it bolts too?

yeah checked that one too no splits or cracks in it....just can't figure it out because when we pushed started it, it ran fine...since it been raining here for like two days i can't get to it, but i think sunday is going to be nice...we shall see and i'll post agian if i figure out the problem...thanks all for advice...

As it's been said check your grounds.. 'Stangs are notorious for bad ones... make sure you check all your alternator wires, like test them all electrically, if one's off it'll mess yah up. Check the starter, anything that's been said is really all...

okay i am thinking about upgrading to a 140amp alt cause my lights ant night get dim as hell and i have the black max fan from flex-a-lite...i think the stock one is still on there...but the alt will get changed this weekend as well as the grould wires being cleaned up....
