car won't start

Default car won't start

ok so now when i try to start the car it makes a clicking noise repeatedly. my battery is charged. is it my starter.

bad solenoid. its on the drivers side fenderwell by your coil u can make it start by jumping the poles with a screwdriver

could be the starter. the solenoid is supposed to click. if you hear a series of clicks until you let the key go, its the starter.

ya it clicks very fast until i stop trying to crank it. is there any way i can test it. and how much do they cost

true but try to cross the 2 big studs on the solenoid and then you will be able to tell

test it this way. lay under the car, even on ramps or jackstands if you have to. put your hand on the starter and have someone else hit the key. if it's the starter that is locked up, you'll feel the clicks in your hand.

if its the starter and its not engauging then lay under the car while someone tries to start it and hit the starter with something like a hammer. i mean dont go beating the sh@t out of it but mabye its stuck
