stalling when coming to a stop
 

Got a 5spd and have a problem stalling when coming to a stop.I step on the clutch to put it neutral the rpms drop fast and stall.I can down shift into other gear fine. Happens only from1st to neutral.Any idea whats going on. Thanks

My guess is you IAC (Idle Air Control) is clogged. You could try removing it and using carb cleaner to get any carbon deposits out of it. Otherwise you could just replace it.

I just cleaned that thing theWeds day. It started acking upthurs day. Could I have killed the little bastard (IAC) by cleaning it.

i had the same problem with my car but it was much more serious problem in the end....its probly just your IAC or you need to check or timing or throttle
