Default harmonic balancer

i was looking into getting a new harmonic balancer and was wonderin what the best brand is to go with? i was lookin at professional product and was wondering if there any good? or get something better? dont want to spend much more than 100-150 dollars............thanks

Why fix it if it's not broken. Although it is true that it doesn't take much to slip a balancer, it is not that common on most street cars, but if you want to be safe, summitracing.com has many different companies, and they all give you a rundown of the product.

I would look for a 10,000 rpm fluid balancer with a sfi rating of 18.1 or better, ive seen a cuople i think www.catpep.com or hawk-racing makes one for that price. And just because its not a big name brand dont think its not any good if it is sfi rated youll be ok.

If you don't need the SFI rating, there is a Streetdamper that doesn't cost as much, but is way better than a stock one...

ya i dont need no 10000 rpm balancer street/ strip car, lol, im lookin on summit now for some good ones, anyone ehard anything about those ones that have ball bearings in em? there spensive but i was wondering how good they were. thanks

not to steal your thread but how do you tell if you balancer is going out, mine is kinda wobbley, is that a sign of it going out?
