Default Installing NEW MSD 6AL Pictures

Getting ready to install this new MSD 6AL...Is there anything special I will need to know or do? Your experience and help will be greatly appreciated.Also, were is the best place to mount it?

Just follow the instructions. It is pretty straight forwardand easy.

They have 3 diffenent ways...I have the? Do I need to tap into the wires like you see going into the dist? And were would be a good place for it?

i have always seen them mounted on the drivers side strut tower. the box that is. the dizzy itself, well if u dont kno that then.[8D]

make sure what ever you do, you dont mount it without the rubber vibration mounts that go between the box and the mounting surface. (msd part no. 8823)

vibration kills those boxs real quick.

I've never used Crane before. I have always used MSD and never had any problems with their products.

MSD sells a great little adapter for the Ford TFI system, Makes your wiring a tad simpler.

you dont tap into any wires. you need to follow the instructinos that say ford tfi on it. the two large wires are your power wires, they go to the battery. 2 of the small wires hook to the wires that are currently hooked to your coil. the other 2 wires from the msd box hook to the coil.
