Default Timing Advance

Could you guys just give me alittle info on advancing my timing. I have complete intake and exhaust work, and pullys, injectors 24. I ve taken the distributor out to do the manifold work. So what is center when i put it back in and how much do i turn it to advance it?

did you have to replace your mainfold? my BEST GUESS would be to get the balancer reading TDC and get the rotor on the distributor pointing where the #1 cylender wire would go and put in back in make sure that the rotor stays still tho!!
