My 89 Mustang Part II
Summer is approaching and as I said in my last posting, I plan to convert to four wheel disc and five lug wheels on my '89 Mustang LX. Any thoughts on this? That is are there any advantages or is this type of change merely cosmetic? Any idea of how long this step takes or should take? Any input or suggestions would be appreciated.
Oh, yes. Up here in Canada picking up used axles from Broncos etc. is a no go due to lack of supply and prohibitive costs (i.e. one cannot buy just the axle but must take the entire rear end or whatever) so am going the new-parts-entirely route and also keeping the 15" tire size so I can reuse the original tires which are almost new anyway. Cost will be great enough as it is.

P.S. As you may have figured out from this duplication, there was something that I was missing and I found it!! Oops!

RE: My 89 Mustang Part II
The brakes will be better and the handling improves a bit with the '94/95 spindles and brakes.
It took me about half a day total to do the swap. It really wasnt all that hard. I stuck with rear drums though so I didnt change the master cylinder or anything else extra required for rear discs.
