Default oil pan gasket '95 5.0

how much of a pain in the *** is it to change it? Do I have to pull the motor off of the tranny or can I just raise it up?

do you have any way to lift the motor? if so, your best course of action would be to unbolt the motor mounts, raise up the engine, drop the oil pan onto the k-member, reach inside and unbolt the oil pump, and slide the pan out towards the tranny

That's the best procedure right there but forwarning it's a pain in the *** so make sure you buy the rubber gasket instead of those cheap cork gaskets so it won't happen again!!!!!!!!

Our car ('93) had a one peice on it and it was leaking. I put in a 4 peice Mr. Gasket one and it hasn't leaked on bit. I just put a good amount of silicone where the peices joined.
