that happend to my friends chevy 1500 its only an 05 he was going down the high way and it dropped off the rear axel he had to put it in 4wd and drive 3 miles to his house with only front wheel drive

yeah like 6 bucks each, lol. i dont want it to do that. if it does it on the front it will mess up the car!

it only does it while moving so that got me wondering

just have someone lay next to the car and recreate the noise for them. they will easily be able to tell if its front or back.

most of the time, its the rear.

i got under it , just the typical play in the driveline. the h pipe will catch it if it falls out in the front, thats my biggest worry. if it breaks in the back it just falls out, in the front with no h pipe could be very dangerous
