Default Whats a good shifter to get?

I'm going to be buying a shifter for my car soon and was wondering from your experiance what would be a good shifter to get for street and more strip. It needs to be auto.

I'm not sure if he added that the car is an AUTOMATIC before or after you guys posted or not. I'd say the B&M hammer, even though I've heard about it getting a little sloppy if you are really hard on it all the time.
