Steering Rack Pinch Bolt

After removing the pinch bolt I cant get my rack out... I tried giving it a few wacks with a hammer but no luck. I tried prying open the clamp a bit but no luck. What do you guys reccomend I do? any special techniques

pry it open and hit it upwards at the same time. it shouldnt be on there very tight.

Are you trying to take it completly out or just install poly bushings?

I usually use a fat chisel.. get it nice and wedged in the seperation... then hit the end with a long pry-bar that I have.. and a hammer
