Default RE: Mass Air Flow Sensor

ORIGINAL: 4.698GT

Does anyone have a recommended Mass Air Flow meter? My friend bought a Grantanelli last summer and the thing took a dump recently. Anyone know of any good reliable ones, he needs one calibrated for 24s
Your BEST bet for factory drivability and power with 24lb injectors is to convert to a 93 Cobra setup. This includes the MAF, X3Z computer, and 24Lb injectors.

This is the ONLY way to ensure accurate air and fuel reading/metering.

IF you don't want to convert to the X3Z, then plan on a custom dyno tune. Maybe not immediately, but soon...

While PMAS is much better than C&L, they can still throw things out of whack...

The problem with the C&L is how it samples airflow. Compare a 90mm LMAF to a 73mm C&L and sample tube, and you will see what I am getting at...
