pro-stick?
 
yes i used the search..has anyone used the B&M pro-stick shifter and is it good for drag racing....what are some auto shifters that are good for drag racing?

i run the pro stick in my car. very nice shifter for track or street (designed for the track tho). i cut out my ash tray and cigarret lighter and mounted the shifter there

does it have some kind of setting...where if you put it in 1st for drag racing ....you can hammer on it for 2nd and 3rd without having to push in the lever? cuz i dont think i';ll be running a reverse throttle body

the whole reason that lever is there is so you CAN hammer through the gears. if it wasnt, when you slam 2nd youd go right into third. i have a forward valve body and i push the shifter forward going into second, and then squeeze the handle and push forward again for 3rd. without the stop in there (the reason you need the lever) you would miss second every time. maybe a ratchet shifter is better for you
