RE: Power steering line
the line from the power steering pump screws in. i had to change mine about 2 years ago, it was a b*tch to start and screw in.....have fun lol

RE: Power steering line
don't know what to tell ya then, without being there. if they screw in, your gonna have to figure out how to get them in and screw them in tightly whilst still having room to do so.

RE: Power steering line
well lets see what others have to say about it. I get my new pressure line tomorrow so I will know for sure then. Just seems odd that the acutal line has to move with the fitting. Big pain in the ass[:@]

RE: Power steering line
the line doesn't move with the fitting. it shouldn't, anyway.

RE: Power steering line
rez rocket, how did you start it? was that the first line you did or was it the return line? any tips? haha
|
RE: Power steering line
if your whole problem is the line moving with the fitting, it shouldn't. the fitting on the end of the line should spin freely, if its not screwed into anything.

RE: Power steering line
its a horrible process especialy if you have to change from under the car like i did, i think i replaced both lines? i think i started one then started the other. i couldnt tighten one all the way becuase you had to move the line around ( thats why it swivels)

RE: Power steering line
haha I knew it...idiots at ford making things hard for everyone. So you did the power steering line first?
