can anybody tell me what i need to do to swap a 4cyl 5sp in my 90 lx i was told that i had to change the input shaft but then i was told that was not true and i could just put my 5.0 bell housing and bolt it in

pretty sure all need to change is pilot bearing and i do know you can use your bellhousing also . but what size pilot bearing you need i have no idea wish i new also cause im gonna buy a 4cyl tranny also cause can get it real cheap . but good luck man .

i dunno why you guys use those trannys... you'll be lucky to get 1000 miles out of it.. its not made for 300ft-lbs of torque

a 4cyl. tranny is just as strong as the v8's

All stock Fox body T-5's suck. IMO
