Default Turbo Question

i was wondering if anyone can suggest a product to use to clean/flush out a turbo...... an intake hose broke off a turbo in a F450 diesel dump of mine and i think it sucked up some dust and debri, i dont wanna sign up to turbo forusm just to ask that, and help appriciated

if it went in the inlet air tube it's most likey gone thur it and hopefully didn't bent any blades on the peller

yea i dont think you have anything to worry about if all that went through is dust..but if it was decently sized particles, i would spray some air intake cleaner through the system and see what happens

a little bit of carb or brake cleaner would work.. but not if the turbo is on the truck.... just take both inlet and outlet off and hit it with some compressed air

I seen your sig at first and thought "wow, those heads have some DEEP chambers" then i looked closer... i feel like a complete MORON



When i got a turbo from the J.Y. i just sprayed WD-40 thru it a few times. I ended up popping off the housing and cleaning them that way after more and more stuff kept coming out.
