anyone ever pull oil pump in car

okmy oil pumps locked down i've gotten to it got the pump bolts out but i don't see how anyone could put the pickup back on when you put it back together ... i coulda damn near had the engine out by now

the pickup comes off first, should be 2 bolts holding it to the pump, and 1 bolt holding it to the #3 main cap. after that, it should drop into the pan. then you can take the pan off, if the motor is high enough.

not really. its right there, 1 extension on the ratchet should be good
