Default Hello

OK....I'l try typing this again.....New to this forum and without boring you with the deatils of how I got my car I'll just tell ya whats in it and ask for some advice.
1987 Mustang
GT-40 Block
Trick Flow Heads
Roller Cam
Roller Rockers
Lunati Cam
Larger injectors
Larger Mass Airflow
Vortec Supercharger
Lakewood Drag Struts and Shocks
Weld Drag Rims
31 Fine Spline Auburn Posi 327 Rear
Sub Frame Connectors and so on.......
Here is the question, this car was butil about 10 years ago and is in need of a little TLC. Now before get into this I was a mechanic for about 13 years and do know cars, but have some concerns on mine. 1st, After the car heats up the oil pressure drops to "0" at an idle, but there is not a knock or a tick, meaning maybe a bad sending unit? I will replace that to rule it out, but how many of you have ever gotten away with just replacing a pick screen and pump.
2nd ANyone have any experiance with setting the car up with the supercharger. Biggest problem, when it gets warm, it pings yet blows balck smoke really bad.
3rd There is a breather tube that comes from the neck of the oil filler in the valve cover that goes to the back of the intake and the rubber gasket keeps popping everytime I get theboost up. THen spilling oil everywhere......
4th I need to pass CT Emmisions.......??????
I'm registering this car this weekend and could use some advice.
Thank you

I think you are talking about the line from the valve cover fill tube to the throttle body, and the pcv valve to the vacume tree being connected together. The pcv is on the back side of the lower manifold in a rubber gromet and supplies vacuum to your brakes and stuff. Am I in the ball park? This is all I can come up with.

Ya, your right......Stupid me....It is the PCV valve, anyone have any thoughts on why under heavy load the PCV pops out?

forced induction setups need to eliminate the PCV system with a breather setup. talk to samseed or Pro50SC about this...
