O2 Sensors
Do 95 gt's/cobras have narrowband or wideband o2 sensors??
|
RE: O2 Sensors
every car comes with narrowband o2's.
unless i'm wrong about some exotic cars, but every car i've ever worked on has had narrowband. |
RE: O2 Sensors
alright thanks...i didnt really want to buy a wideband air/fuel gauge
|
RE: O2 Sensors
can you get a narrowband Air/fuel gauge?
|
RE: O2 Sensors
the gauges don't cost much money, but the sensors do, i've seen $200 all the way up to $500, for 1 sensor.
|
RE: O2 Sensors
yeah a n/b is about $60 and a w/b is about $375
|
RE: O2 Sensors
if i get an air/fule do i need a wideband?
|
RE: O2 Sensors
not unless you have wideband o2 sensors I THINK....that could be wrong
|
RE: O2 Sensors
a n/b guage will do nothing for you lol... a narrow band works like this: its sees that it is leaner than stoich (14.7) it tells the computer that and it adds fuel. if it is richer than 14.7 it takes away fuel. it is useless if you want to tune with it. the wideband will not take the place of a narrow band for the cars computer. you need the narrow band for the computer to help you out ( you can eliminate it but you will have to tune it more and make the compensations yourself) put a wideband on the other side of the exhaust and you can see the exact A/F ratio and see the range. then you can tune accordingly.
