I got a new waterpump too...
I also went with a new thermostat and thermostat housing...the old one was BAD!!!
How about rockers, pushrods and lifters...are you replacing those too?

Ive got Harland Sharp roller rockers, Crane (I think)pushrods and Summit lifters.

It's a fairly easy job, just take your time. If this is your first time doing motor work make sure you learn how to find zero lash and adjust valves before you do it or you'll be kissing away precious horse power.

You guys pretty much got itall out there,but if you have not changed the oil recently, i would so you have fresh fluid running thru your new components.
And a good readable torque wrench and know have
the torque specshandy , good luck
