all you need to do is match up the damage to that vehicle. i JUST went through this last weekend with a friends car, both her vehicles were side swiped by a dually GMC(according to witness reports), and we found a plastic lug nut cover from the truck.
we went driving around the neighborhood, found a white dually GMC with body damage and a broken plastic lug cover, and he is now charged.
