throttle sticking

RE: throttle sticking
I dont know why it works or what it does, but try spinning the spring on the throttle cable where it attaches to the TB. Mine used to stick forever and there was no binding or catching up on the mat. There was just a slight stick that made starting from a stop a PITA where it bucked like old chevys do . Barely touch the gas and lurch forward. One day for ****s and giggles I was spinning the spring around and whattya know, it was smooth as butter after that.
It started sticking again recently since the HCI swap so I took a look and my TB coolant bypass tubing had gotten caught up in the throttle cable....zip tied it out of the way and its golden again.

RE: throttle sticking
Its the spring in the throttle body butterfly. its probably catching or binding. I almost blew my motor because mine stuck. i always thought it was my cable, but when i put the stock tb back on it didnt stick.
