1988 swap possibilities
Hey guy,
My friend is in need of a reliable car and he can get his hands on a 1988 lx 4 banger (free) but tha motors gone. This is a budget to be done to the lowest bidder, but my man wants a 5.0. Not sure if it is an auto or stick, but would a a 5.0 from a 86 and up stang hook up to the tranny or would i need to find both for him. We have plans to build on it later, not much though, main thing right now is DD. What do you guys think? Junk yards worked out for you in the past, where can i get my hands on what i need for pretty cheap? Thanks. (droppin in a crate engine would be more fun to talk about, but its not in the budget
