crossed a couple guys on sport bikes on the way home from the gym. they were trying to get me to race from the moment i pulled up next to them, reving their motors constantly. i turned on the wide band (which told me a lot about my motor). make 3 good runs from 2nd and 3rd gear. no dead stop races. i found out what my converter stall speed is through. it stalls on the foot brake at 3000 rpms but when i floor it, the converter flashes to 4700 (my data logger confirms this). its running really rich. 11.2-10.89 starting at about 4800rpms. i know my sc belt is stretched out about .5" so im hoping im loosing boost because it doesnt feel like its pulling as hard as it should. i havent been on the dyno with it so its not tuned. im sure more hp will come when i have time to tune it properly.

anyways, from 20mph to 50 i pulled on the guys on the sport bikes. at 50 they began to pull on me. it was very close every time. they were at my nose each time i floor it and they fell back to the rear bumper but at 50 they started pulling forward and would get about a car legnth on me and at that point i let off (mostly because of traffic. with the methanol i plan to run about 11.7:1 afr through out the rpm range so i have some more power to go. idk how much timing i was running because i didnt have my laptop in the car recording and i cant calculate it because i dont know if the sc belt was slipping.

they asked what motor i had and what i run at the track. the guy seemed pretty surprised i could hang with them. i need to get on the dyno to see what kind of hp its making.

a little concerned about the lean spikes but there is no smoothing in the graph so those spikes are only a few miliseconds long

i raced a bike once.. i won but spun my water pump belt and burnt holes in two piston's[:@]... but i out ran him

that just doesnt sound worth it.. and everytime i start my car i spin the waterpump belt

Nice, those bikes are pretty damn fast. I wish my car could hang with my bike. Maybe some day.....
