there not stiff, i think they put them on so when their car launches he back end goes down and stays down for traction....iunno all i know is dont put a 351 in a fox with 4 cyl springs cuz your front bumper will hit the floor

you only change your front springs and the reason you do so is for better weight distribution.

i have them... let me clear it all up...

you put them up front to give the car more jounce on launch. their a softer spring, AND under the weight of a 5.0 engine as opposed to the 4cyl. they get compressed more, which pre loads them, which basically makes the jounce effect even better. you dont want them in the rear, you want some stiff *** springs back there, so it plants the wheels to the ground... personaly im going to put airbags in the stock v8 springs and be happy w. that. the 4banger springs arenot for handling at all, they are only any good for launching. they tend to nose dive when hard braking, and the car has alot of body roll when turning(all of this depends on the struts you use, i have strange 10 ways, when locked down, ithandles like stock) anything else you wanna know about 4banger springs, or drag suspension just let me know

and 4cyl springs are find w a. 351, ive seen it countless times
