that E85 is killing U. I would double check on your timing....E85 has a higher octane rating, but actually hinders performance & mileage....up to 30% in older vehicles.

Also, put larger exhaust valves in your P heads and they will flow much better. They have 1.46 like the E7s (GT40s are 1.54).
The E85 is not killing me. E85 does not hinder performance. It acctually makes more power. And my compression is close to 10.5-1. I probley should have put the timing up more but it is almost to late to do that and run it on the dyno.

who the hell builds a mild street motor and runs E85 in a mustang?

look at what u drive.. does it say "ecopower or treehugger" on the back or something?

im confused.......
You are talking like a ****. I did not run E85 for the economy or any s*** like that. E85 is not any better for the enviroment than regular gas. This coming from a guy with zero smog or emisions crap on.

Where are you getting that info? ALL the research I've ever seen on E85 shows that you lose up to 30% mileage in older vehicles and the performance goes w/ that. Even in newer, flex-fuel vehicles your mileage still drops a little.

E85 does have higher octane, but it doesn't burn nearly as well as gasoline which is why it takes more to make the same power.

Grist

There are many more, but those are a couple. E85.com is a very biased site and would not be straight forward w/ me when I emailed them w/ some usage ?'s in a performance vehicle a while back.

Toyota is talking about making the new supra either a DOHC v8 or a hybrid v6... that would be interesting,

never thought I'd see a 331 stang on E85, god I guess this means pretty soon Honda will make rear wheel drive gas gussling V8 sports cars
