I have an older kenne bell and I don't know about other super chargers but I start making boost around 1900rpms and max boost is around 2500-2700 rpms it really kicks in low in the power band and pulls hard right to the red line

kenne bell gives you full boost right away, and a centrifigal is more for higher rpms...kenne bell will give you some monster torque...but id stay away from powerdyne, i dont personally hve experience with them, but everyone on here says to stay away

Basically a centri charger will make a bit more top end hp with the same boost since it's thermal efficiency is a bit higher, but no extra power down low. That can be an advantage in an already torquey car that has traction problems as it is, where any extra power down low would just aggrivate the traction problems. A lysholm(twin screw, like the KB) will make boost starting at a much lower rpm, and hold the same boost basically across the rpm range. It won't make quite the same top end hp because of a slightly lower thermal efficiency(but still very good power) but will make peak torque at a much lower rpm and hold a flatter torque curve. Lysholms are good for cars that have very good traction and can benefit greatly from substantially increased bottom end torque. Which sound you like is a factor as well, but in terms of performance, it depends how your car is setup. Centris can also get more boost on a higher compression engine than a lysholm can, since it's only boosting at higher rpm when cylinder pressures are dropping off anyway because of decreased volumetric efficiency, whereas a positive displacement type such as a roots or lysholm might detonate as it's running max boost pressure through the peak torque rpm, where cylinder pressure is highest.

Would kb be more for lower rpms and powerdyne for higher rpms?
Sort of...except for the "Powerdyne" part. Don't confuse a powerdyne with a procharger.

Hahaha, ain't it more like don't confuse a Powerdyne with a supercharger? [8D]

In my opinion they are both excellent superchargers and are both good at what they are made for.

Im in mid install right now. Procharger mounted, inter-cooler mounted, fuel injectors/plugs in & some piping done. Finish piping & install new fuel pump. I have a problem tho, I need a larger adapter for the SCT 90mm maf, if I cant find 1 ill just use the stock unit.
Cant wait to hear it.
