Default Tach issue, need some advise

Has anybody had this problem?

OK, I just got and hooked up a brand new FORD racing tachometer and yes, I hookd green to MSD AL6 tach input, red to ignition, pos battery, black to neg battery and white to...Well that is another issue. What is happening is when I start the car, the tach jumps and goes back to zero...The dash tack works fine? The white wire is for the light but to what fuse? Is there a diagram of which fuse? I even tryed the green wire to the negitive side of the MSD coil...Same thing. You help would be greatly appreciated.

Tach works...Needed to be wired into the fuse box...The thing even dims with the lights...Next Sub Frame connectors.
