Yeah no kidding, but now the air is a LOT cooler at around 65* and I have brand new tires, nice and soft, so I should be able to run better times, traction is the key.

that fair 302 vs 350[sm=smiley29.gif] put a 305 vs 302 or 351W vs 350 48 cubes hell isnt that a whole ricer motor???

you need to get those 60 foot times down.good tires and a gear maybe and pull some 1.9 60s and youll be mid-low 13,s

dude im tired of hearing aout your ****ing s10. you claim stock. you never stated year or anything. there are so many varations of 350s that came stock. talking about a chevy will run circles around a ford. do you know anything about ****ing cars. equally built both rides will do the close to the same. advantage goes to driver. so take that **** about yoru ****ing s10 on the **** out of here

i love the look of mustangs...i like fords and chevy...but a 14 sec is easy...my s10 with a bone stock..350..9-1 comp..stock cam..3.73 gears ran 13.90-14.00...the same truck..with the same motor but with vortec heads and a 480 cam cam 12.50 ...mustangs are killer if you have the money to spend on parts..while a near stock 350 will run circles around a ford...but a low 14 sec car is pretty good...i had more fun running 14;s than i did running 11;s and 12;s...but good job

motor size isnt always important. i got a buddy with a 1.9 N/A motor running high 12s. i got another buddy with a 396bbc only running a mid 14. so motor size dont mean ****. I know of a 289 that spins 9500 rpms with 14.1 cr. so your point of cubes dont mean squat. you say ricer motor. **** like that is irogant. respect things that are built right. no all imports are ricers. there are a few domestic ricers on this site

I didnt mean cubes mean everything or mean to **** anybody off. I was simply saying 48 cubes is a advantage. I HAVE a buddy who runs high 9s with a tricked out gsr 750 (which is less then 48 cubes)
I THOUGHT we were taliking stock.
dont be so angery its bad for the health.

so its less then 48 squares?? im guessing you mean CI. gsr 750 what got me was you saying ricer motor.. why is it that so many members on this site think that way. there are so many ricers on this site its a joke but they are the same ones that will pick on a person with a import and call it rice even tho it can run respectable numbers.

sorry about the confusion its a GSXR 750..
48 cubes = 786 cc so a 750cc would be less then 48 cubes.

don't think you have 2.73 gears in there, most 5 speeds in that era came with 3.08's and you timeslip kinda verifies that IMO.
not bad for those many miles and the few mods you listed.
Mine actually came with 2.73s. There are 3.08s in there now, though not for long.

i can take the facts strickly from the source that says 273s were stock and 308/327 were the optional gears but, for some reason no one wants to listen to those facts. next time someone doubts it ill give you the reference guide's page number, paragraph and etc.
