i can take the facts strickly from the source that says 273s were stock and 308/327 were the optional gears but, for some reason no one wants to listen to those facts. next time someone doubts it ill give you the reference guide's page number, paragraph and etc.
I'd like to see that page because I also have a stock '88GT 5 speed that has 2:73 gears in the rear. It says it on the rearend tag and also on the axle code that's on the drivers door.
....and no...nobody changed the rearend or switched VIN sticker on the door before you say that.
I'm not trying to start and argument but I know what I have.
