What kind of sand for my Sand blaster?

What kind of sand for my Sand blaster?
I just bought a new sand blaster, But then i realized i didnt know what kind of sand to use. Is there special sand or dose it just matter on what grit you want to use. If anyone knows this is what im doing. Sand blasting a frame of a jeep and sand blasting alot of like brackets and stuff for my motor (ac bracket and so on). also sorry this is in the 5.0 tech area. its just the only section were i moreless know everyone . thanks guys
