Ive got around $900 into my swap. I paid $210 for the wheels and kept the same tires I had.
I paid $210 shipped for the front spindles and calipers off a '94 v6 Mustang. I bought them off a guy on the Corral.
I paid $80 for two Ranger axles at a local junkyard.

I bought new rotors, brake pads and drums. You might not need to do that right away.

Look at a rotor for a ranger (basically what the FRPP comes with) and then look at a rotor for a '94 up car.

Ranger Rotors

SN95 Rotors

See How the center of the Ranger rotors protrudes out as far as the lugs and the SN95 rotors have a hole which the center of the hub protrdes through, but not nearly as far as ranger rotors........... There aren't many wheels made to fit the older style rotors anymore, while the newer setup will fit anything made for 94-04 cars.

'94-'95 hubs, spindles, rotors, calipers, caliper bracktes, and brake lines are the way to go. www.mpsautosalvage.com has full take of kits priced from $349 up depending on what it came off of.

Cheapest is never the best. You won't be able to use any of the wheels from 94 up cars including any FRPP wheels or reproductions. The center bore of the wheel will not fit over the hub of the Ranger rotors. The FRPP kit sold on 50Resto is just a set of brand new Ranger rotors. You can go to any autoparts store and buy Ranger rotors and bolt them on. They are also the same rotor as the Thunderbirds and Lincoln Mark VII.

The advantage of using the 94/95 setup is you get 5 lug, and wide variety of options for wheels, and the brakes are better, not to mention the ability to upgrade to other brake setups from newer cars like Cobra brakes or Mach I brakes.

Have you decided on what wheels you want to use? Make sure they fit the Ranger hubs...........

Yes those are Ranger rotors. You will not be able to use Bullets with them. Well actually you can bolt the rims up to the rotors but the center hub will protrude enough that the wheels dust cap won't be able to be used.

I'm not guessing. I have read the page your link points to. What I am saying is right on the money.
