Maybe that post was misleading... Just stating what YEARS the ECU's came out of, for help finding them.
Any of these ECU's will work... A9L, A9S, A3M, X3Z for your car.
88 had speed density, (Except cali models) 89-93 had MAF

The X3Z is not a direct swap for an A9L.
The X3Z is the 93 Cobra ecu and requires a specific MAF/MAS and 24lb injectors.
The others will swap in just fine.

The little spoiler is from a 86 svo. It is the only mustang that has a second one. You can find them on ebay or at a junk yard. Though a svo is hard to find. I think that is a nice addition to the car. It makes it different.
