cobra intake fast?
i can get a brand new cobra intake manifold for my 88 hatch for $300. would i need anything like an egr spacer or a phenolic spacer, or anything other than the uppler and lower manifold gaskets and some time to put this in my car? anything at all?

RE: cobra intake fast?
EGR spacer has more to do with the throttle body than the intake, so you shouldn't need a new one. That's a decent deal though, they sell for like $450 brand new. A decent improvement over stock, but not worth $450, IMO.

If you shop right you can find one new for around that price i always like to pay an extra 25 bucks for something outta the box. I like mine a lot but it was a pain to install only because i didnt have the right tools... A word to the wise... mark absolutly everything you do, it'll bite you in the *** later trust me... good luck

+1...I would save for a better one too.
ORIGINAL: 92hatchLX
I picked up my TF street heat manifold in perfect, like new condition for $300. Don't waste your time with that Cobra manifold, there's better out there.

RE: cobra intake fast?
im only going for a moderate build. i was thinking afr 165 heads, and i'd have to find an off the shelf cam to match. Would you still suggest looking for a different intake?
