cobra intake fast?

Default cobra intake fast?

i can get a brand new cobra intake manifold for my 88 hatch for $300. would i need anything like an egr spacer or a phenolic spacer, or anything other than the uppler and lower manifold gaskets and some time to put this in my car? anything at all?

EGR spacer has more to do with the throttle body than the intake, so you shouldn't need a new one. That's a decent deal though, they sell for like $450 brand new. A decent improvement over stock, but not worth $450, IMO.

i plan on gettin it only cause its the right price, and im young and in school. Just not a lot of mehcanical history. just makin sure im not missin something here

the cobra intake doesn't require an egr spacer like most, it's built in.

I picked up my TF street heat manifold in perfect, like new condition for $300. Don't waste your time with that Cobra manifold, there's better out there.

If you shop right you can find one new for around that price i always like to pay an extra 25 bucks for something outta the box. I like mine a lot but it was a pain to install only because i didnt have the right tools... A word to the wise... mark absolutly everything you do, it'll bite you in the *** later trust me... good luck

im only going for a moderate build. i was thinking afr 165 heads, and i'd have to find an off the shelf cam to match. Would you still suggest looking for a different intake?
