my brakes wont bleed any fluid
i just converted a 84 into a 89 and i changed over the whole brakes including the master cylinder, booster ,calipers and proportion valve ect. i never blead the system but i did have a lil bit of brakes enough to stop the car if they were pumped but now they completely quit and i cant get hardly any fluid out of the bleeders and the fluid is full could it be the proportion valve?????????

ok well when you do your brakes...check to make sure you dont' have any leaks...this happen to me...well i was fixing my brake lines..but i mean make sure all your fittings are good...any little leak will make it so they don't bleed...

well bleeding your breaks is a two man job. one man need to pump up the breaks 5 or 6 times and then hold the break pedal down with pressure on it while the other man is under the car and cracks the bleed valve. when the pedal hits the firewall the man under the car needs to close the bleeder valve BEFOR the man in the car lets go of the break pedal. do this untill there is a solid stream of fluid comming from the bleeder valve. and then there you go no more air.

You need to take off your master cyclinder, then put two rubber hoses that go from the outlets and then loop back into the reservoir. Then put the MC in a vise and with the handle of a good sized tool. Push the cylinder in a bunch of times to get all the air out of the MC. Then install the MC, then bleed the brakes. You can do it as a one man job, too. Connect a tiny hose to the bleed after it's cracked, then put the other end of the hose in a container that has brake fluid in it. Just make sure the end of the hose is always in the fluid so aire doesn't get sucked back up into the lines, etc...
