should have a holley from the factory anyways. spend your money on a better intake, the stock early/mid 80's aluminum 4bbl intake has VERY small ports on it, much smaller than the stock heads have. basically its a restriction, and a stock replacement style intake with normal sized ports will serve you great. edelbrock performers are worthless, but the weiand stealth or action plus, or the edelbrock performer rpm or rpm airgap will work great on there - even with everything else stock.

actually, while the rpm airgap is better for the higher rpm range and it keeps things a little cooler - the regular rpm doesnt have the center divider cut down and will do better at lower RPMs
i'd strike a deal with 87 if you can
