i believe the clutch may be installed backwards. I know they are slightly offset one way and will make a hell of a racket when you put them in wrong and because of this the clutch wont fully doisengage wqhen u push the pedal probably making the car not able to shift. Id take it all back out and redo it. make sure clutch is right way and use an alignment tool. ive heard of noises being made by non centered clutches cause its rubbing on the bellhousing.

any idea what it could be with my problem though? I have no problem ordering a clutch fork if thats the problem but i don't want to just start throwing parts at it either.
