Default 7.5 to 8.8 swap

hey guys, i finally blew my 7.5 rear end tonight and im gonna be putting in my 8.8. I know the break line assembly is different but what will i need to buy or rig for the swap to work propely?

Nothing. Hang the brakes up out of the way and you wont have to bleed them. Brakes hooked up fine for me, I just didnt use the clip on the rear cover. I guess the vent on some 8.8's that the distribution block for the brakes to mount to is different on some, but it was the same for mine. Axles interchange too.

those little 7.5 can hold up to 300 if you dont beat on them. i still have my 7.5 with 125hp shot and its still holding up.

i wouldnt say its the amount of hp my motor puts out, its more how much torque i have running. I just bought my BFG Drag Radials and the rear axel probably couldnt handle the power/no slipping. I lucked out with my t-5 nothing going before this but yea lol
