thats what i thought to but there is a company making 17" pony knockoffs. there called pony r's. i imagine as pony is still under fords trademark.

No, they make a "Pony R" now...Which is the stock pony design but in a 17" wheel....

As far as the topic goes, if you're worried about chrome wheels slowing you down too much, then ya don't really need to be worrying about 1/4 mile times anyway...

i dont like the look of the oringinal pony rims because they arn't chrome, pony R's are chrome but 17".

since i am staying 4-lug the only two rims i like is the weld draglites and the pony r's. unless anyone knows of other good looking 4-lug rims PLEASE NOT COBRA R's

on that pic up there he runs a 12.2, if they are 17" 's then it obvisously dont slow u down much. and pro50sc i just found out ran a 12.33 on 17" torque thrust wheels.

last question: is there any other good looking 4-lug rims? and whats the maximum width and minimum width that the pony r's come in?>
