o boy..
ok so i put my engine back together on saturday. all set ready to go. I notice now that i can't find the plug that go's into the idle air control sensor on the throttle body. Im under the car tightening the lower rad hose and i see a senor just laying there on the driver side valve cover. Turns out plug go's into the IAC sensor but it is on the wrong side, which means the main wireing harness that plugs into the injectors is on backwards as well as everything else. So my question is does it matter if the injector sensors are pluged in wrong? or are they numbered for specific cylinders to fire at certain times. thanks!

RE: o boy..
Umm, you're screwed, lol. The computer tells the injectors to fire in a certain order and for a certain duration. As you've probably guessed, it's kind of important to make sure that the injector that is spraying fuel when it is supposed to be spraying and not before / after. That could cause some serious problems.

I think we've all been there. Maybe not quite this extreme, but I'm sure everyone has installed something only to realize that they screwed up somewhere along the line and have to take it all apart again.
