I bought an 89 LX 5.0 convert 5-speed but it only came with the keys. Both locks are quite hard to turn with the key but the power locks work (only when car has key in ignition - must be a convert thing I haven't learned yet.) How can I check if the car has keyless entry? Is there a computer module somewhere?

Unless the previous owner put in on there you don't have keyless. If you want it you can get an alarm system that comes with the nessisary stuff to keyless entery pretty cheap (Then you get both the alarm and the keyless).

If you own a vert you will have keyless entry! It is caled a knife! lol Unfortunately, I'm sure thats not the keyless entry you had in mind tho. Just a part of the vert universe

Yeah, that why I never lock my doors, just set the alarm, and don't leave anything valueable in it.

These cars never had keyless entry. Theyre just too old to have had it from the factory.

You can hook up one of the kits JC Whitney sells though. My brother had one of those kits in his Neon and it worked pretty good.
